- i would rather pay higher taxes for guaranteed healthcare, retirement/vacation, and other "uncertainties" we have in america. especially if it meant less stress in my life.

- what a load of crap! we all knew this was going to happen. in what other profession but "celebrity" can you commit a felony crime and be allowed to return to your luxurious lifestyle after serving your "time". it's not about serving your time. it's about learning your lesson.

- it is a tragedy that americans have to work 75% of their lives just to LIVE. no wonder we die earlier than europeans - we're worked & stressed to death! they get at least 6 weeks of vacation every year.

- I agree that there is still a moderate racism problem in the US. However, scenarios like this are self inflicted. There is no reason why this man shouldn't have pulled his ID out and said, "I live here". That would have resolved everything.
